3 QUESTIONS
FOR KATE
What is your
love story?
My love story is basically nothing that went as planned. I wanted forever my first time around but what I got was a lesson in learning my own strength. It was at my rock bottom that I realized that I must not be the only one who found out what happens once happily ever after is over, and so that began my journey of writing.
On this path I also realized that there really is a fated love, one bigger and more beautiful than we could ever imagine, but that it is a matter of divine timing and personal growth to make it happen. And opening ourselves up to receive what we've always deserved is what changes everything.
How did you become
interested in astrology?
I believe in past lives, and in certain traits being carried over from other lifetimes. One of my earliest memories as a young child was being fascinated with Sun Signs by Linda Goodman. I don't even know if I could read when I first began looking through these books, but there was something familiar in them; something I seemed to understand.

Through this intense passion and even calling, I was honored to spend time with Mayan elders in the mountains of Guatemala as I realized that studying the stars was not new-age spirituality - but a return to the knowing our ancestors had instilled within all of us.
Tell us about your
favorite rituals
One of my favorite rituals is to write down my intention and then plant it with the New Moon - but depending on what you want to call in and determine what you plant it beneath. For instance, Rose for love, Cinnamon or Bail for prosperity, Rosemary for emotional healing.
In my free time, I love to read. While spiritual books like The Mastery Of Love by Don Miguel Ruiz are my favorite, or the Untethered Soul by Michael Singer, reading is also my chance to just be, and so I love novels that I can get wrapped up in. A few of my favorite novels are The Unfortunate Side Effects of Heartbreak by Breanne Randall, At The Coffee Shop Of Curiosities by Heather Webber, of course Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman.
